About AMWA-CANADA

AMWA-CANADA is the Canada Chapter of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA).

The Chapter was established on September 14, 1982 by Canadian medical writers and editors looking for an appropriate organization for professional development and networking.

AMWA-CANADA (Chapter #20) extends across the country with over 150 members throughout Canada. AMWA-CANADA’s members are not only spread across the largest geographic area of any AMWA chapter (9.9 million sq. km or 3.8 million sq. miles), but also represent a broad spectrum of professional interests in medical communication.
