Between 2000 and 2006, she worked as a research scientist (Environment Canada) and as an associate professor (University of Ottawa); her teaching and research interests focused on biotechnologies. Her scientific writing activities included: literature searches, grant proposals, research papers, course notes, abstracts, posters and conference proceedings.

Erin RussellRegion: Ottawa

Erin Russell is an epidemiologist, health researcher, and medical writer. Erin has completed a BSc. in Immunology, Biochemistry and Physiology from McGill University and a MSc. in Epidemiology and Community Medicine from the University of Ottawa. Her background includes work with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), the National Advisory Community on Immunization (NACI), and the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH). Erin volunteers as Editorial Assistant for the Canadian Society of Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CSEB) Bulletin.
